momos are quite nice... and love the reiko w red blossom.
I don't know what to do!!!!
i'm usually not really a leopard-print fan, but that momo jacket is so pretty! i also like the reiko with the blue trim....
I will need to do an in-person looksee - I am excited, but not enthralled...
i love the reikos, but they look really short. the momo jacket is also great. the nia skorts are great also, but that's definitely something i'd have to try on before purchasing.
I am with Cindy. I like a couple of the Reikos but I need to check them out in-person. Where is Astrid?
You are right, Jennifer. The Reikos look crazily short. I prefer the fastenings on the originals too but I imagine they have none of these left.
I prefer the original Nias too. The jackets are nice--I like the one in the fabric used for Margarita and Mariya (both of which I have, so no need for another).
The momo jacket is my favorite! Not too sure about other pieces, however.

Just left Mayle with Momo in hand, an unexpected amazing surprise. Chelsea and I jumped all over the green version - completely sublime and the fit is perfect. Two other lovely ladies bought them as well. Mayle will be open until 6:00, but Christina said to call. They had Astrid in 3 colorways black, ivory paisley and the lavender and khaki (styled similarly to the Jacinthe). Unfortunately, Astrid was priced at the original $875 and that forced me to hang it back :(. Sample sale is definitely next Friday and Saturday. There will be a mailing with more details.
Any info on fit or price of Reikos?
i called earlier and the reikos are $465. not sure about the fit though.
Thanks for the info, Liv Kate. I think I'll wait for the sample sale at that price. Did the Astrid's look as well made as the originals? Isn't $875 $100 more than they were originally?
Any info about sizes? I'm still hoping for an Astrid in my size (6-10)?

Was the shop the same as ever or had they started dismantling it?
The store was exactly the same, wall décor was still up and the furniture was still there. Elise said that the Astrid was the same original price, she mentioned $875, but she likely meant $785. I did not remember the original price. I would have loved to bought it, but that would blow my budget and I would not be able to sleep tonight knowing I spent that much on a dress. Someone mentioned that Metier was getting a shipment of Astrids and that is why they were full price. The Astrid was made in China unlike the other re-editions that have been made in the US. I was unable to discern the level of quality because I did not try on the original Astrid. I was a size 2 maybe even a 0. I really liked the Reiko and the way it fit but I did not love it the way I loved the Momo.
It sounds like it is from the original factory then. Thank you so much for the update. I hope I'll be able to get one at the sample sale. How did it fit? Was it slightly large?
thank you so much for the update, Monica. I would go in but the Astrid is way too tempting and I cannot spend that kind of money on one dress so near the sample sale (or ever). I imagine many people think the same. It's good to know that there will be more of these around, though, as that speaks to future markdowns at Metier.

So I got back from Mayle.
and I got the momo jacket- which was the hot item and I think everyone got one.
My size 2 were ALL GONE so I had to get size 4.
I don't know how many she made since this time there was no tag.
and I really liked the Reiko but I had to be rational, and I have So many black dressed similar style... so I had to pass.
I already know some other girls wanted it ( black one w red blossom) and put their name down so it won't be at the sample sale but I had to pass.
and They made more rompers - so for sure I think they will be at the sample sale. ( I paid full price for that!!!)
and finally Astrid - I am not sure what was going on, but it's either 450 or 425 now.
So if you want them, call now or go get them since it seems to be flying off.
My opinion- the best is Momo jacket. fit so nice, and very Mayle!!!

I think it's just from other stores or from the original factory. They look exactly as original and nothing new to them.

I bought the leopard Momo. Yoon was sweet enough to text me even more info :). I didn't like the reiko from the photos and Christina said that the Astril was $450 (I bought mine at full price as well) but it does sound great that they are in the lavendar/tan print.

momo is such a cute jacket but I'm passing on all the re-editions! marti, be sure to take some snapshots in the jacket--I'd love to see how you style it.
