So, here's the latest. There will be over 30 pieces in the collection, including the shoes. It debuts September 22 at 19 E. 71st Street--Sigerson's uptown store. Shoes will be designed by Jane but produced by Sigerson-Morrison.
I'm eager to see the designs (mainly shoes, handbags, outerwear) but will only be watching from the sidelines. Can't afford full retail, no matter who the designer is.
It's already getting buzzed about and we're still 3 weeks out. I wonder how many fans have moved on already. http://ny.racked.com/archives/2010/08/30/mayle_popup.php
I think a lot of fans have moved on if the comments on Joyce's blog (search-party) are anything to go by. And I think the prices are going to put a lot of people off--unless they are celebrities/super rich. For the likes of us, it will require restraint and we'll likely have to pass on items we'd have coveted. I can't see there being any reductions as they can send stock to SE.
I think there will be a number of shoes, Marti, but from the sounds of Doris's post, there will be a lot of clothing. I imagine about 2-3 pairs of boots, 5-8 pairs of shoes, 3 coats, 3-5 bags, 10 dresses, 5 tops, 2 jackets, 5 cardigans/sweaters or some such mix.

Wow how did you get the scoop? The clothes are going to be in the Sigerson shop?
From Sigerson Morrison. I guess Jane's email will follow.
awesome. 30 pieces including shoes? Why do I feel that shoes will be the bulk?
